I Never Expected My Life to Include Raising a Child

When I started building a life with my partner, I also became part of his son’s life.

I’m not his mom or stepmom. I’m simply someone who loves his father and has become part of their family. Honestly, learning how to live together and support a child has not always been easy. There were many days when I felt tired, frustrated, and overwhelmed.

His son has ADHD and autism, and everyday things can take extra time, patience, and practice. I taught him simple skills like using a fork, knife, and chopsticks. His progress has been slow, but today he can use them—and those small achievements mean so much to me.

Our family loves to travel, and long car rides inspired me to look for creative ways to keep him engaged and happy. I saw how much he enjoyed coloring and creating, and how these activities helped him focus and feel calm.

That experience inspired Tsuki Color and Craft.
